You're...an odd person.
ReplyDeleteThank you Anonymous, if that is your real name :o)
ReplyDeleteWell, my oddity started when I was quite young. You see I started life as a child and as it turns out I was born at a young age.
aDios,
Mariano
When I watched the video with Bill and Joe, Bill didn't stop dead in his tracks. He told it like it is. I heard what they both had to say, and I agree with Bill Maher. Religion is a man-made bureaucracy between man and some strictly defined personal god. I saw Religulous, and I loved it. Whether the virgin birth is mentioned in the second half of the fairy or how closely the fairy tale follows other fairy tales is largely irrelevant; the point is that it IS a fairy tale, and most believers are like the people interviewed. A lot of what they believe is dangerous and assists in justifying the actions and beliefs of crazy, judgmental, irrational people.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment.
ReplyDeleteI wonder is you and Maher realize that very many Christians believe that “Religion is a man-made bureaucracy” or that the Bible itself is anti-religion.
I am certain that many people loved Religulous. Was it an intellectual exercise or pocking fun at those people?
Moreover, he manipulated and selectively edited those people who did not say what he wanted to hear , see Expelled from Religulous.
A lot of what atheists believe is dangerous and assists in justifying the actions and beliefs of crazy, judgmental, irrational people. Just look at the last century when the most secular century in human history brought with it the bloodies century in human history.

Mariano
