Yes its a war really isnt it , but then whats news about that .Its been raging for years back and forth between differnt beliefs .Its nasty in many ways , but not alot more nasty than what is contained within many beliefs .It could be argued to be less nasty .Sadly humans do not always learn to change by peaceful ways and sometimes it take a little nastiness to bring about change .Not alot unlike how sometimes sadly fire needs to be fought by fire as water only adds fuel to the flames. Its trivial and childish yet so are many religious teachings that devide and teach people to shun and seperate etc, look up shunning you can see its a type of psychological torture http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shunning and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_torture .I dont know what you think , but i think life points towards the fact that mostly there is always two sides to the story .And its often so much easier to just overlook the posibilitys of the fire being partly first started by ourselves .I take no sides in this matter , i only wish that the childishness would stop .That this world that has been wracked by childish practices for thousands of years could have the posibility of finding some peace .Those four little treasures of yours and many others of others depend on us adults thinking with adults minds .Adult minds look for solutions to problems being also willing to look at our own mistakes within the complete picture .Peace be with you and yours Mariano ,and to all those who cross your path .May the future progress to humanity finding common ground that we and our little treasures can enjoy equally together .May we see less problems in our differences , to allow us more time to work with the real problems that together we share .
And shalom aleichem (peace be unto you) as well friend.aDios,Mariano
I would highly suggest for you, and any one else interested to read the book ""The Devil's Delusion: Atheism and its Scientific Pretensions." by self-professed secular Jew and mathematics/philosophies teacher David Berlinski. This tells the story of a Jew who was forced to dig his own grave prior to being shot by a German soldier. Prior to being shot, the old Jewish man advised the German that “God is watching what you are doing.” The Jewish gentleman pointed what i think is the real problem with atheism. "If you have the time please check the book out
