It seems to me that academia strives to creatively obscure (with endless references to celebrity figures, conversations, events, in historical Europe), the non-existent differences between seekers who use science as opposed to seeker who employ "conventional" wisdom to prove or disprove the same theory.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Occam and I are in agreement.
I think if Occam lived today, he'd want us to throw out the divisive trappings of religion and encourage us to think quantum-ly.
It's coming down to semantics, folks.
The real question is: "Now we are aware of our incredible, uncanny luckiness, how can we put it to good use?"
What is good use?
What is good?
Or we could refuse to question our relationships with our neighbors and simply cite Occam's status as a friar to be his bias...
